The Shuster Wire Straightening and Cutting Machine dates back to 1866 when John Adt invented and built the first machine for automatically straightening and cutting wire. In 1898 Franklin Shuster bought the company and propelled the company into the next century with what was at the time state of the art manufacturing innovations and designs. By 1946 under the leadership of William DeSenti, the Shuster Mettler Corporation was formed with the merger of the Mettler Machine Tool and F.B. Shuster companies.
Today, more than 150 years since its invention, Shuster Wire Straightening and Cutting Machines are still the industry standard.
