OSCILLATING ARBOR WIRE STRAIGHTENERS

This SHUSTER ® straightener is particularly useful when uniform straight short or long pieces are required for stamping, pressing, forming, or heading and where intermittent feeding would cause wire to score or burn off when a stationary rotary is used or where roll type straighteners cannot straighten satisfactorily.

As wire is pulled forward by feeding device on the machine this unit is used in conjunction with, the arbor is drawn toward that machine thereby loading spring on guiding shaft which returns rotary arbor over wire while cut-off and other operation takes place. The spring loading is adjustable for required cycling and wire diameter.
